Rattle the old one

The wood for this rattle was gifted from a massive 250 year old plane tree, that lives in a wonderful area with another old tree and 500 years old yew trees.
The handle is rather long, about 40 cm, but has such wonderful details, beings showing their faces.
The head is made from horse skin, it took a while to decide on the shape, to balance out the shape of the handle.
It's filled with gemstones, herbs and small stones.
