It must have been in 1999 that i made my first drum in Portugal. 

I was offered to join a shamanic course there, but i only just met the teacher and wasn't sure if i wanted to do that. But at night, the guides he was working was, stood next to my bed and i felt the strong pull.

Then there was the opportunity to make your own drum as well, my reaction was the same, until i met my drum spirit while having a shower and signed up for both. 

Over the years i started creating some drums just because i enjoyed it so much (and had a relationship with the drumbuilder btw :)) ). We created a new model together, born with elements from how we both created different drum and this merge really worked. 

From there on the journey only deepened, working from a growing connection with nature and the spirit world. The drums were my teachers and guides. To get out of the way and let each process and drum unfold in the way it showed me. Listening was important! 

Now, with the new websites, webshop, feels like a new beginning. The last couple of years have been difficult (2026 when i write this). A much much deeper calling, an open adventure is calling me. Living on a really magical plot of land is asking for such big shifts, I can't tell yet where it will take me, but i absolutely love it!!!
